Antique Rudolphe Engraved Silver Plated Copper Beaker Floral Victorian Edwardian Cup
Lovely antique continental beaker with ornate hand engraved floral decoration and a central cartouche beautifully inscribed “Rudolphe”.
Believed to date from around the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1880–1910, with a French or Belgian influence. The silver coloured finish has worn naturally in places to reveal the warm copper toned base metal underneath, giving it loads of genuine age and character.
Decorated with flowers, foliage and wheat style detailing around the body with the personalised Rudolphe engraving taking centre stage.
There is a very faint tiny mark to the base, but it is too worn to identify with certainty. As no clear silver hallmarks are present, this is being sold as silver plated copper or copper alloy, not solid silver.
A really characterful old piece with a great decorative look. Ideal for collectors of antique metalware, French or continental antiques, unusual personalised pieces or simply as a lovely display item.
Please see photos carefully for condition, including age related wear, surface marks and areas of plate loss consistent with its age.
