Rare vintage Our Chalet pin badge dating from around the 1950s, depicting the famous international Girl Guide and Girl Scout World Centre at Adelboden, Switzerland.

The detailed relief design features the distinctive Our Chalet building surrounded by Alpine scenery and flowers, with OUR CHALET prominently displayed across the bottom.

Our Chalet opened in 1932 and was the first World Centre established by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), making this a fascinating piece of international Guiding history.

An unusual early collectable with its original safety-pin style fastening to the reverse. No maker’s marks are present.
