Antique Sterling Silver Celestial Star & Crescent Moon Brooch Fully Hallmarked

Beautiful antique sterling silver brooch featuring an unusual celestial design of raised stars and crescent moons around an ornate openwork frame.

The centre has a decorative three-dimensional star motif with fine rope-twist and beaded detailing, giving the piece a wonderfully distinctive Victorian/Edwardian appearance.

The reverse carries a full set of British silver hallmarks including the lion passant sterling silver mark, assay/date marks and maker’s initials C N. Please see close-up photographs as the marks show some age-related wear.
