A wonderful matching pair of vintage Sylvac England hunting hound tankards, model 2375, featuring highly detailed raised hound portraits.

Each tankard features a different hound portrait in relief, designed so the pair display beautifully together. Finished in Sylvac’s rich brown glazed tones with darker detailing and a traditional tankard-style handle.

The reverse of each features moulded fox hunting and country sporting motifs, including a hunting horn, riding crop/whip and traditional hunting cap.

Both are marked to the base SYLVAC ENGLAND 2375.

An unusual and very displayable matching pair, particularly appealing to collectors of Sylvac pottery, vintage dog ceramics, hunting and equestrian memorabilia, country house decor and British pottery.
